it was good,the new recently played feature is cool. I wish they changed the notification on the top right when a friend is on. It's a gray rectangle and has a happy face[friend icon],it always looked sloppy and ugly,they can do better than that.
I had the 60 gig since 1 month after launch and i bought the slim today. It's definitely worth it,i love the new logo and size.

Gears 3 won't happen next year or maybe even this gen. I think they are giving it a deserved break. With halo reach out next fall i don't think MS wants to put both out holiday 2010. Also it's 3ebtter to have gears 3 take a break so it can be more anticipated and have more time to be worked on if it releases 2011 or next gen.
excuses,i remember when 360 was sold out in japan and people said it doesn't matter. there's no excuse,360 got close to outselling it.
MW 2 360 won't outsell halo 3,if you combined the 3 versions then it will but that is obviously an unfair comparison.

It makes sense for 2 sku's,the less the better it is. I knew the elite or pro had to leave one day because it doesn't make sense. I think one day they will have one sku,most likely the elite and the arcade is phased out for good. I am guessing the arcade remains $199 and the elite is $299,so no price cut really but an increase in value.
yea but then they will run out of price cuts. They are really getting close to running out. If ps3 is $299 it will be where ps1 and ps2 started,many are waiting for that price cut and ps3 cost $150 more last year and it still outsold 360.
It's over 24 million by now for sure. Pretty amazing it outsold the 2 consoles life time sales that lost last gen at a much higher price and in a shorter time. PS3 is not even where PS1 or PS2 started which is $299. Going to get crazy in the future.
